This beautiful handmade batik is made by Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth using beeswax applied from a traditional tool called “Canting”.  Wonderful craft that perfect for shirts, dresses, skirts, sarongs, quilting, wrapping, and home decoration.


How to care handmade batik:

1. Cold rinse with gentle soap. The best way to clean it is by giving it a cold hand rinse.
2. Soak and rinse with natural soap and wash batik separately with other clothes as batik fabric may bleed when  contact with water.
3. Wring-dry batik-wear carefully without excessive twisting. Doing so may deform the fabric.
4. Do not hang dry in direct sunlight as color fading may occur.
5. Warm iron only.

How to care for silk.

1. Hand wash/ submerge your silk in a basin with cool water only and mild silk-friendly detergent.
2. Let the silk soak for at least 3 – 5 minutes
3. Gently plunge the silk fabric up and down to remove dirt and rinse with cold water.
4. Only press, squeeze or use a towel to remove excess water. No twisting, No wringing, as it can damage the fabric’s fibers.
5. Lay flat to dry and avoid direct sunlight.
