This beautiful handmade batik silk is made by Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth using beeswax applied from a traditional tool called “Canting”.  Wonderful craft that perfect for shirts, dresses, skirts, sarongs, quilting, wrapping, and home decoration.

How to care handmade batik:

1. Cold rinse with gentle soap. The best way to clean it is by giving it a cold hand rinse.
2. Soak and rinse with natural soap and wash batik separately with other clothes as batik fabric may bleed when  contact with water.
3. Wring-dry batik-wear carefully without excessive twisting. Doing so may deform the fabric.
4. Do not hang dry in direct sunlight as color fading may occur.
5. Warm iron only.
